BOISE FALL PARADE HOME 2025 EAGLE IDAHO
This luxury single family residence with attached ADU is a custom home built to last. With specialty features of full height concealed cabinetry and cladding, full room width window wall, spa master bath complete with walk in sauna. Interior design by Monica Macha featured warm organic materials, wide European white oak flooring, black architectural accent features, softened with warm faux stone countertops, full height backsplashes and custom inset mirrors. Lighting plays a key role in this homes elevated style. Built by Urban Design & Build.
MODERN FARMHOUSE CUSTOM HOME EAGLE IDAHO

This modern farmhouse home showcases a harmonious blend of warm woods, complemented by black accents, sleek lines, and mixed metal finishes, creating an ideal setting for relaxed living with a sophisticated touch.
MODERN CUSTOM HOME BOISE FOOTHILLS
A Seattle family sought to incorporate a piece of their former hometown through artistic glass features. They accomplished this by collaborating with a local Boise glass artist to create custom light fixtures, and incorporating custom Vetrite glass panels in their shower and kitchen backsplash. Splashes of color brightened the modern lines and sleek geometry of the home. This high end contemporary home was built by Bruno Custom Homes, with interiors by Boise interior designer Monica Macha.
BOISE FULL HOME REMODEL
This Boise River home, originally built in 1990, underwent a complete remodel to suit a family of tech enthusiasts and sports lovers. With its unbeatable location, renovating the existing structure was a logical choice, the interior design showcases an industrial style, featuring distinctive shapes and, balanced by a neutral color palette accented with vibrant hues. The project was expertly executed by Wallace Renovations Contractor and Monica Macha Interior Design.
CONDOMINIUM REMODEL SUN VALLEY IDAHO
Original 1970's condominium in Sun Valley, Idaho required a significant renovation to accommodate the new owners' needs. The interior design concept featured minimal structural alterations, blending classic and contemporary Sun Valley aesthetics. An updated kitchen and bathrooms, along with a spacious entryway, were key to enhancing the views and establishing an open floor plan. This transformation was brought to life by Ian Blacker of Loomis Construction and Monica Macha Interior Design.
MOUNTAIN MODERN HOME REMODEL KETCHUM IDAHO
Original home built in the 1990's needed updates in the main living areas, master bedroom and bathroom, kitchen, and windows throughout. Interior log support columns were retained and stained to match ceiling beams. New floating stair in the entry with glass railings created a light and airy balance to the living room timber and stone fireplace. Color palette was inspired by the backyard pine forest of greens and blues. General contractor Ramsay Solutions, Interior Designer Monica Macha.
NEW CONSTRUCTION HOME LAS CAMPANAS NEW MEXICO
This custom home, built in a Santa Fe style from the ground up, features architectural antiques, specialty plaster, and log beams, creating a luxurious retreat in the high desert of New Mexico. The ambiance of warmth and texture is enhanced by custom window treatments and hand-forged rods, along with meticulously crafted details. This stunning residence was brought to life by Roger Hunter Builder and Monica Macha Interior Design.
HOME REMODEL SUN VALLEY IDAHO
A prime real estate location led to a home remodel for a family needed updates with modern conveniences while maintaining the existing log beam and support elements. Mixing barn wood accent details with a modern steel support beam in the kitchen, upgraded appliances, cabinetry, and new doors throughout, took this home to the next level. Bashista General Contractor managed the construction and Monica Macha facilitated the interior design details.
NEW CABIN HOME MCCALL IDAHO
New cabin home build in McCall with old finishing details make this project feel like it belongs. Reclaimed wood for interior ceilings, exterior siding, and a massive natural quarry stone skins the fireplace. All the elements in place for a warm cozy atmosphere balanced against modern full height Pella windows. Bob Barrow Construction and Monica Macha Design collaborated on bringing this project to life.
CUSTOM HOME BOISE FOOTHILLS
A unique lot with 360 degree views let this home perch above its neighbors. An Idaho family with a love for the mountains and the beaches of Maui wanted their custom home to have a little bit of both vibes in the design. Interior design selections included warmer woods with red tones and accents of blues, and aquas, to achieve this goal.

My strength is bringing this vision to its full potential. I create digital drawings and renders to show my clients what their interiors will look like.
I have 25 years of experience in high end residential design. This includes custom homes, and remodel. I approach projects with authenticity, energy and integrity. I tend toward neutral backgrounds mixed with dark and medium wood tones, with splashes of color.
